The work on risk-based supervision will be a first by the IMF on this topic, and based on staff’s expertise as an STX delivering technical assistance on this field and will result in a [Working Paper] to be published in FY27. The paper will identify the key considerations of RBS for securities supervisors and provide a guide for supervisors with relatively nascent markets and supervisory frameworks to transition to a risk-based approach.
Other work will be assigned and accepted on an ad hoc basis throughout the year, with short turnaround deadlines in the case of review
