Data Analyst Intern

Description

American Plastics, a private equity-backed leading injection molded plastics manufacturer specializing in Retail Storage, Janitorial, Food Service and Cleaning products is looking for a Data Analyst Intern for our Innovation Center. This role can be located in Findlay, Tiffin or Sycamore, OH. 

This position is 20-30 hours per week. Candidate must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in one of the following fields: data analytics, computer science, finance, accounting, or business administration. 

•  Assist in the creation of monthly sales forecast templates that utilize sales, inventory, and customer forecast data 
• Assist in the creation of monthly production review templates that utilize sales, inventory, and production data 
• Address various data requests from sales & operations teams 
• Explore and form a basic understanding of Trans4m ERP system, SQL, and Microsoft Power BI 
• Become a back-up resource to provide support for all things S&OP related 
• Complete ad-hoc data analysis projects upon request 

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Eligible to work in the United States of America
• Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen & Authorize Background Check
•  Proficient in Microsoft Excel Knowledge of common functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and Pivot Tables 
• Detail oriented 
• Strong analytical skills 
• Strong communication skills in both in-person and online settings 
• Highly motivated and independent
