Vice President of Food & Beverage - Operations | Columbia Hospitality
The Vice President of F&B Operations is responsible for providing oversight, support, and direction for all standalone F&B outlets, distinctive venues, and conference centers. This role ensures alignment of area directors’ efforts with company standards and leads operations for diverse F&B sites, enhancing quality and efficiency across the board. With direct oversight of Senior Directors of F&B and Area Directors, this leader will monitor performance, conduct monthly report reviews, and develop action-oriented agendas that support operational excellence and elevate the guest experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Manage the performance of standalone F&B outlets, distinctive venues, and conference centers.
• Monitor financial performance across all venues, setting revenue targets, managing budgets, and implementing cost-control strategies.
• Direct oversight of Senior Directors and other leaders of the F&B team.
• Provide direction for Area Directors of F&B, review monthly reports, and set agendas for performance improvement.
• Set standards and practices that enhance guest satisfaction, streamline operations, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Ensure that all venues comply with health, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Oversee recruitment, development, and coaching of F&B talent.
• Ensure the consistent application of F&B policies and procedures across all business units.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of F&B programs and initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Oversee supply chain logistics for restaurant operations, negotiate with vendors, and ensure quality standards and consistency across all locations.
• Collaborate on the implementation of technology solutions (e.g., POS systems, inventory management) to improve efficiency and operational oversight.
• Regularly assess market trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences to inform strategic decision-making for the F&B portfolio
• Act as a change champion, supporting leaders and team members through periods of change and ensuring effective communication and support mechanisms are in place.


Education and Experience:

• 10+years progressive experience in Food & Beverage, with extensive experience overseeing multi-unit operations and managing teams across diverse locations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) are preferred.
• Expertise in business development, strategic account management, and leading sustainability efforts.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
• Strong knowledge of all applicable laws
• Works well in both team oriented and auto
