Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, screen people and property, and support daily security-related operations. This role combines visible presence, routine patrols, and strong customer service and communication. Guided by a caring, agile, and innovative team, you will help promote order and help to deter incidents with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen people, packages, shipments, and/or personal property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document screening activity, irregularities, and/or policy violations with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, which may include dock areas, trailer yards, sorting spaces, and other logistics-related locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
