The Cellular Workflow Automation Field Applications Scientist is responsible for providing pre-sales and post-sales application support for our automated cell culture and complex biology platforms, including live demonstrations, customer trainings, and troubleshooting. This position reports to the Business Development and Field Applications Scientist Manager and is part of the North America Cellular Workflow Automation Field Applications Scientist team working remotely to cover the East Coast Area. *** This position requires to reside or relocate to the Boston, MA area***
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

The essential requirements of the job include:
- An advanced degree in Biological Sciences or equivalent discipline.
- 2 or more years’ hands-on experience with laboratory automation, including automated liquid handlers required
- 2 or more years’ hands-on experience with long term cell culture, including iPSCs
- Experience with 3D biology, including organoids, spheroids, tumoroids preferred
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Must have the ability to travel up to 75% (domestic and internationally), this position will be home office based and the candidate must be located in the Greater Boston area.
- Must be able to lift ~30lbs on a regular basis
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Automation scheduling software and image analysis
- Customer-facing experience (FAS or technical support)
