Job Summary

The Catering Manager oversees all aspects of the Catering Department, including training staff, managing event logistics, and supervising set-up and breakdown. Ensures high-quality service and maintains client satisfaction throughout events.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

• Manages all catering events and logistics

• Ensures quality, sanitation, and facility standards are met

• Collaborates with the Chef to develop menus

• Trains staff on service, presentation, and customer experience

• Monitors labor and food costs for each event

• Maintains strong communication with clients and internal teams

• Supports all foodservice-related operations

• Performs additional duties as needed

 

Qualifications:

 

• 2 years of food service experience, including 1 year in management

• Required catering experience in foodservice settings such as hotels, corporate dining, or education

• Knowledge of catering trends, sanitation, food costs, and presentation

• Strong financial and budgeting skills

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• ServSafe Certification
