About the role

We are looking for creative individuals who have experience developing cutting-edge, scalable technology solutions. The selected candidate will become a member of the team which develops the platform for banking. The individual will participate in design and architecture sessions and develop code which is in alignment with system architecture and integration design standards. Candidate will work as part of an Agile squad and interact with other squad members as well as external stakeholders including business and technology partners (local as well as global) across Wealth Management, infrastructure team, architecture team to deliver the objectives. 5+ years of hands on experience in java/j2ee and related technologies

Candidate must have hands-on development experience in core Java, and Java 8, Spring, Spring Boot and relational databases

Experience in integerating and working in a JAVA full stack environment

Awareness of messaging technologies such as Kafka and MQ

Strong Linux background

Ability to learn new concepts and technologies, and implement them to solve business problems

Exposure to JIRA or other ALM tools to create a productive, high quality development environment

Previous experience in working with global teams

Good verbal and written communication skills

Experience with requirements of large enterprise applications (security, entitlements, etc.)

Proficient in Agile development methodologies & understanding of DevOps Integration

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $90,000 and $150,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
