Water Engineering Project Manager - Connecticut

Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater, and civil infrastructure, is seeking a licensed Water Engineering Project Manager - Connecticut to work in our Middletown office.  The Water Engineering Project Manager will manage and execute municipal water and wastewater projects in Connecticut and greater New England.

Responsibilities

• Management, oversight, execution of a variety of municipal water and wastewater projects in New York state.
• Technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating small-to-mid-scale projects.
• Performing portions of large or complex multi-disciplinary projects.
• Applying intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Identifying opportunities to enhance organization's standards and delivery of services.
• Managing and mentoring junior-level staff.
• Performing research assignments, pilot studies as needed.
• Participating in water/wastewater industry professional organizations.

Experience

• ​10 years of increasingly responsible experience executing a variety of municipal and industrial drinking water and wastewater projects
• Previous experience managing multi-discipline project teams
• Previous experience with preparing proposals and scopes of work

Certifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer

Education

• B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
