Job Description:

As a ServiceNow Technical Lead (Systems Engineer), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction and governance of ServiceNow implementations within the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to provide systems engineering guidance to scrum teams, ensuring that technical designs and solutions align with established governance models and best practices. You will collaborate closely with Strategic Committee leaders, led by the Lead Technical Architect, to develop governance documents, procedures, and frameworks that guide ServiceNow systems engineering and design. Additionally, you will assist scrum teams in designing applications, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and creating solution blueprints that align with the ServiceNow product ecosystem. Your role will also involve teaching and mentoring lead developers and developers on system design techniques, fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide governance to scrum teams focusing on systems engineering guidance.
  • Work with Strategic Committee leaders to develop governance documents and procedures.
  • Help scrum teams solution the design of their applications.
  • Teach and train lead developers and developers on system design techniques.
  • Assist in gathering initial requirements for new efforts.
  • Recommend new best practices and governance models.
  • Work with external applications to design overarching systems.
  • Create and maintain product and application roadmaps.

Here's what you need:

  • Deep understanding of the ServiceNow product suite including ITSM, CSM, and CMDB.
  • Proficiency in systems thinking, workflow design, and business process management.
  • Experience in creating technical designs, solution blueprints, and architecture documentation.
  • Experience in integrating ServiceNow with external systems and designing overarching architectures.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Understanding of the ServiceNow product suite including FSM, SPM, HRSD, SecOps.
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and methodologies.
  • GenAI, specifically Now Assist, experience.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
