General Maintenance Technician

Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities and equipment are well-maintained and operating efficiently. Your duties will include troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of our facilities and equipment. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of equipment, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other systems. 

- Troubleshooting and repairing equipment breakdowns, malfunctions, and other issues. 

- Conducting preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities to prevent breakdowns and malfunctions. 

- Responding to emergency maintenance requests and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner. 

- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed. 

- Participating in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent. 

- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role. 

- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. 

- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. 

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
