Job Summary:

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented Project Manager to join our Research and Development (R&D) Lab Department. As the Lab's operational liaison, this role will play a pivotal part in coordinating activities and projects between internal teams and corporate departments. The Project Manager will also be responsible for periodically announcing major internal or corporate events and fostering cross-team / department collaborations. The ideal candidate should have administrative experience, excellent communication skills, and be adept at multitasking in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. Proficiency in both Mandarin and English is preferred to facilitate effective communication with various stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Operational Liaison: serve as the primary contact between R&D Lab Department and other internal teams. Periodically announce and coordinate major internal or corporate events such as company-wide initiatives, audit, inventory count, etc. Support and align in event logistics as needed
• Inventory Management & Inventory Count: act as coordinator for daily transactional support and collaborate with internal teams during annual inventory count activities
• Test Equipment Calibration Management: manage and collaborate with test team leaders to initiate and or renewal equipment calibration; work with vendor to complete in timely manner
• Industry / Association Membership & License Management: monitor and manage department membership & license expenditures. Maintain good relationships with external organizations & vendors
• Documentation Management: work with ISO team and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of departmental records and documentation such as ESD logs, chemical inventory master list, calibration master list, etc.
• Internal Database Management: work with department stakeholders and IT to maintain and improve Lab database system
• Process Improvement: work with internal audit team to identify and execute projects for continuous process improvements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Communications). Technology / Engineering related field is preferred
• Proven experience of at least 2 years in administrative or project management roles
• Familiarity with project management and ISO 9001 principles is a plus
• Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., MS Office Suite)
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively and build positive working relationships across different cultures
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail
• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English is a plus

Salary Range

$83,000 - $109,000 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
