Job Description

AECOM/Hunt has an immediate opportunity for a Project Engineer for our exciting projects in the Phoenix, AZ area.  

• Under direct supervision, performs routine duties requiring knowledge of basic engineering principles. 
• Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work. 
• Performs specific and limited portions of broader assignments. 
• Spends large percentage of time performing estimating take-offs and performing walk-downs for quantity tracking purposes, reporting of installed quantities, performing field inspections to verify adherence to design.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirement:

• BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency and/or education.

Preferred Requirements:

• Strong experience with construction documentation, budgeting, vendor management, etc. 
• Prior work experience in construction.
• Ability to work independently with excellent communication skills. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Experience in construction safety protocols.
• Offered rate of compensation in Phoenix, AZ will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.  The hourly range for this position is $23.52 - $41.15/hr.
