What you’ll do at Jamf: The Principal Technical Program Manager is responsible for strategizing the technical vision  for portfolio initiatives within our Product and Engineering teams and ensures that cross- functional teams are poised for successful execution of programs. This includes coordinating multiple, interdependent initiatives for teams focused on building and running Jamf business applications and acting as the technical liaison between functional areas. This role will apply technical judgment to guide planning and decision making across the
organization and will help turn ideas in to delivered capabilities.   What you can expect to do in this role:

• Own the execution of initiatives focusing on an API-first and micro-services approach.
• Work with Enterprise Architects to execute against the technical roadmap.
• Engage with engineering Directors, VPs, and SVPs to plan projects and guide decision making, identifies gaps and their solutions, and take ownership for initiative success with a focus on project delivery, quality, and business outcomes
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure teams meet their scheduled targets by implementing industry standard methodologies in team management and roadmap delivery, crafting innovative solutions where appropriate
• Understand project details and develop accurate project timelines and resource estimates as part of the planning process
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Owners to strategize initiatives for engineering teams spanning multiple departments
• Work with product and engineering teams to turn the product roadmaps into an actionable set of stories.
• Maintain current knowledge with software engineering best practices (i.e., self education, attends ongoing educational programs).
• Deliver products or services in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined, and often ambiguous environment
• Establish priorities, analyzing tradeoffs, communicate clearly and effectively influence internally and externally, across organization boundaries.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across Software Engineering and Business team

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of 8 years proven experience working with, leading, and motivating cross-functional engineering teams (Required)
• Minimum of 8 years knowledge of software technology processes and industry best practices (Required)
• Ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities (Required)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Required)
• Experience working with Amazon Web Services or similar cloud platforms (Required
• High School Diploma or GED (Required), 4 year / Bachelors Degree (Preferred). A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
• Past Certifications or willingness to pursue Jamf product certifications (Preferred)
