Line Producer

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM: Univision Network News is looking for an experienced Line Producer to support News. This position will be responsible for managing the line production of a daily show, supporting executive producer with production and team management. Editorial contribution is also an essential part of the position.

ABOUT YOU:

• Responsible for daily rundown, story placement, editorial input and writing.
• Executing timing of live shows in control room and making last minute decisions.
• Development and production of daily news graphics.
• Quick reaction to breaking news and possible show news updates
• Work on special news coverage and field coordination.
• Maintain communication with assignment desk, production and technical crews.
• Must be able to back-time show, adjust rundowns effortlessly while on air

YOU HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Journalism or Communications.
• Minimum 5 years of experience line producing/producing.
• Knowledge of current events
• News writing skills
• Attention to detail, strong communication a must
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Fully bilingual English and Spanish
• Excellent Spanish grammar
