Responsibilities:
- Develop, analyze, and maintain Air Force budgets, ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) financial regulations.
- Utilize Air Force budget and accounting systems to prepare and submit budgetary reports, including forecasts, obligation plans, and funding requests.
- Monitor and track the execution of approved budgets, identifying variances, recommending corrective actions, and ensuring adherence to fiscal policies.
- Support the preparation of budget justifications and documentation for senior leadership, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate program costs and provide financial analysis for project planning and execution.
- Assist in the development of financial plans, including resource allocation, prioritization, and program adjustments based on budget constraints.
- Maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial status reports, and provide analysis of expenditures, obligations, and forecasts.
- Conduct budget audits and reviews to ensure proper allocation and expenditure of funds in compliance with Air Force guidelines.
- Provide expertise in Air Force financial systems to support decision-making and ensure accurate financial reporting.
