Job Description

Primary job responsibility is to oversee Level 2 occupational licensing requirements and filings, with light supervision, in all jurisdictions. Works with the Licensing Manager and Director on the preparation and review of Entity and Executive applications and renewals to ensure completeness and responsiveness. Responsible for independently submitting applications, heavy and detailed recordkeeping, tracking renewal dates, fulfilling reporting requirements, and ensuring an overall smooth experience for licensing applicants and regulatory background investigators throughout the licensing process.

• Prepare, review, and submit completed and accurate Occupational, Executive, and Entity license applications in all jurisdictions where the Company conducts business, including online gaming, or as is otherwise required.
• Meets with applicants to review, sign, and notarize applications on a daily basis.
• Prepare correspondence following established templates and ship packages on a regular basis via various shipping methods.
• Works with the Licensing Manager and Director to gather information and provide responses to various requests from regulatory agencies.
• Send large volume of notifications to applicants and regulators via email.
• Maintain digital licensing files for each applicant, including heavy document scanning and PDF creation.
• Provide regular updates to the Licensing Manager and Director on status of assigned applications and renewals.
• Work with team to identify licensing department efficiencies.
• Stay current on licensing requirements in all jurisdictions for all departments.
• Provide support to all other departments as required and/or as is able.
• Maintain absolute custody, control, and confidentiality of all information encountered during the course of work.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• College degree plus at least 3 years of experience in licensing/compliance in highly regulated industry, OR high school diploma/GED plus at least 5 years of experience in licensing/compliance in highly regulated industry.
• Prior exposure to various Corporate departments preferred.
• Related experience in Regulatory Compliance, Internal Controls, Internal Audit and/or gaming regulatory or licensing experience preferred.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
• Excellent project management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe.  
• Experience with ArdentSky licensing software a plus.
• Existing notary appointment a plus.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
