Description
G1 Facility Services is a leading facility maintenance, preventative maintenance, and construction provider, proudly serving customers nationally. We provide facility and preventative maintenance services to aviation, government, and commercial facilities throughout the United States and the Caribbean. With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to add a Maintenance Technician to our dynamic team.
Scope of Work
The successful candidate will perform basic repairs, routine maintenance tasks, and assist with general upkeep of facilities. This includes tasks like fixing minor plumbing or electrical issues, painting, drywall repair, and assisting with cleaning.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with maintaining all equipment, tools, supplies in stock, inventories and logs
- Communicate effectively to appropriate individual building status and changes
- Adhere to all safety standards, policies & procedures, codes of conduct and best practices
- Act in a professional and courteous manner at all times with clients, co-workers, and vendors
- Utilize materials, supplies, tools and other building property in a safe, productive manner
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
- Ability to learn new skills and be independent as well as work well within a team atmosphere
Requirements
- Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subjected to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria
- 2 years’ experience in Facility Maintenance or similar field
- General knowledge of trades - plumbing, electrical, carpentry, lock smith, painting, and HVAC
- Attention to detail: maintenance issues must be documented and reported. Time tracking is also important, so work can be appropriately assigned and billed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
Schedule: First Shift 7:30am - 4:00pm (Days off to be determined)
Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour (Based on experience), paid time off, medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k
