At Measurabl, the Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the management, configuration, and customization of our primary revenue and financial tools: Salesforce, CPQ and NetSuite. The Salesforce Administrator ensures smooth operation and optimal functionality with Salesforce and CPQ. Additionally, their familiarity with NetSuite will be leveraged to provide support and integration between Salesforce and NetSuite. They ensure the effectiveness and resiliency of these systems by employing operational best practices and high levels of collaboration with other business, technology and security teams. The Salesforce Administrator is the lead subject matter expert within the company regarding Salesforce, CPQ, Salesforce operations (troubleshooting, configuring, release, deploy), Netsuite and other integrated applications.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
The essential functions and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
System Administration and Operations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all Salesforce and CPQ-related tasks, including user management, configuration management, data uploads/exports, data cleansing, package management and system backups
- Participate in technical design sessions; create technical solution documentation aligned with the business objectives and goals
- Monitor the performance of Salesforce and NetSuite, recommending enhancements and improvements to improve the efficiency of our processes
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply appropriate fixes or enhancements as needed
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce and NetSuite releases, new features, and best practices, identifying opportunities for system enhancements and recommend solutions to optimize Salesforce usage
- Maintain up to date technical documentation, including entity relationship diagrams, overall system architecture and data models
- Implement and maintain data security measures, including user access controls, security settings, profiles, and roles, data sharing settings, and compliance with relevant data protection regulations
- Assist Finance and Accounting to conduct basic administration of NetSuite ERP and NetSuite SuiteBilling modules
System Optimization and Continuous Improvement:
- Manage and maintain Salesforce and CPQ using software development lifecycle methodology, preferably within an agile environment
- Translate business requirements into well-designed solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and products (CPQ, Sales Cloud, NetSuite)
- Provide detailed scope and estimated hours breakdown for assigned tasks
- Identify opportunities for process automation and implement workflow rules, validation rules, and approval processes to streamline business processes to maximize efficiency and productivity
- Work with other resources to ensure we have useful support, issue resolution and training to enhance user proficiency with Salesforce, CPQ and NetSuite
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards to enable data-driven decision-making; collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and provide actionable insights
System Integration:
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within Salesforce, CPQ and NetSuite by enforcing data governance and procedures
- Partner internally and externally to integrate Salesforce with adjacent business applications (eg. NetSuite ERP, Hubspot, etc..)
- Monitor and maintain the data integration between Salesforce and NetSuite, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability between the two systems
- Troubleshoot integration issues and work closely with the IT team or third-party vendors if necessary
