Senior Software Engineer - (React/Node/AWS backend focus)

The Squiz product team is working to deliver a cloud-based Digital Experience Platform (DXP) with several core capabilities including Content Management, Optimisation tooling, and Platform services.
We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong backend experience to join our product engineering team on a permanent basis, with a focus on improving capability across the entire DXP.
You’ll form part of a new team that will be helping to build new DXP capability in either the Content Management, Optimisation, or Platform space. You will also work collaboratively with some great engineers in other areas such as our Platform and SRE teams to make sure our DXP performs and scales well.

You must be located in Poland with working rights.

What will I do:

• Build new Content Management functionality to improve the site building experience build new optimisation tooling to improve digital experiences
• Build new Platform service to improve security and monitoring of digital experiences Work across both backend and frontend code bases
• Participate in agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, and showcases Write and maintain technical software documentation

What do I need?

• Commercial experience building software with AWS services
• Commercial experience building and maintaining JavaScript applications
• Experience working with JS frameworks like React and NodeJS
• Exposure to building either dedicated-backend or public APIs
• Experience working with CDK or CloudFormation would be highly beneficial
• Experience working with TypeScript would be highly beneficial
• Experience working with key-value databases would be highly beneficial
• Experience working with Cloudflare workers and storage would be highly beneficial
• Experience working with relational databases would be beneficial
• Experience working with design systems and component libraries would be beneficial
• Fluent English and Polish skills

• CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab CI/CD ideal)
