We are looking for a Senior Technology Procurement Leader, with extensive experience in Software & Infrastructure, to join our newly expanded Technology Procurement team during a significant business-wide transformation.

Your Role

• Set the commercial strategy in key categories of spend (>£150m).
• Lead and commercially architect an efficient and sustainable ‘future state’, including transformation of large-scale contracts and enterprise SW agreements.
• Lead and develop a small high performing team of technology category managers or contract/relationship managers, providing SME, mentoring and career development.
• Influence & partner with key technology and business areas. Gravitas to challenge the status quo at CxO level in order to deliver a best in class technology cost base.

 

About You

• Significant experience of negotiating with large scale / Tier 1 technology providers
• Experienced leader with a track record of building and motivating teams
• Deep knowledge of the technology category and underlying commercial models and cost structures. Extensive experience in commercial contract terms
• Expert and thought leader within Software, SaaS. Infrastructure, and Managed Services desirable.
• Capable of influencing and challenging at a CIO level
• Experience of large scale technology transformation programmes or divestiture within a face paced ‘blue-chip’ environment would be beneficial
