We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Federal Technical Marketing Manager to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technology, business process services and marketing, possessing a deep understanding of both domains. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans that effectively showcase our offerings and services. The Federal Technical Marketing Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling marketing content, drive solution adoption, and enhance our market positioning.This is a remote position with the need to occasionally attend meetings and/or events in the Tyson Corners, VA / Washington DC area. The selected candidate must live in this geographical area.Key Responsibilities:Technical Expertise:•Understand the technical aspects of our products and services to effectively communicate their value proposition to both technical and non-technical audiences.Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.Marketing Strategy:•Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's Federal business goals and objectives.•Collaborate with program managers, engineers, business development and sales teams to create marketing plans that drive offering awareness and growth.Content Development:•Create high-quality technical content, including whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and product documentation, to educate and engage the target Federal audience.•Work closely with the content team to ensure accurate and compelling representation of technical features and benefits.Product Positioning:•Develop and refine the messaging and positioning of integrated solutions to effectively differentiate them in the market.•Collaborate with solutions management to ensure product roadmaps align with market needs and trends.Sales Enablement:•Provide sales and business development teams with the necessary tools, training, and collateral to effectively communicate the strategic advantages of our programs and offerings.•Support the development of sales presentations, demos, and other materials to assist in the sales process.Cross-Functional Collaboration:•Collaborate with various teams, including solution development, business development, sales, and marketing, to ensure a cohesive and consistent brand message.•Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, facilitating effective communication and understanding.Qualifications:•Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; technical background and digital marketing are a plus. Additional experience in lieu of degree will be considered.•5 years of related experience (at least 2 years marketing for federal government programs).•Ability to drive a strategic and compelling narrative and map customer journeys.•Proven experience in technical marketing, product marketing, go-to-market or a related role for federal government programs.•Strong understanding of technology, especially in the areas of software, or IT solutions and services.•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.•Ability to translate technical features into compelling and easy-to-understand messaging for diverse audiences.•Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for technology services and marketing, and if you thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment, we invite you to apply for the position of Federal Technical Marketing Manager at Maximus. Job Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Create marketing materials, such as sell sheets and presentations, for the purpose of business development for the Division.- Plan and manage activities for TCES participation and exhibits at industry conferences; including overseeing logistics, promotions, and speaking engagements of MAXIMUS senior management.- Create and manage blog posts.- Write and edit press releases and media alerts.- Create and edit website content.- Support public relations efforts, including working daily with PR firm on crisis management and brand awareness campaigns.- Devise and implement strategies for “thought leadership” webinar and podcast series, including marketing efforts and content creation.- Manage social media efforts, such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.- Manage interactions with analyst firms, including briefings and managing research, such as vendor briefings and inquiry calls.Minimum Requirements:- Manages, perhaps through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing.- In some instances this manager may be responsible for a functional area and not have any
