Lead Our Front Office as a Senior Dental Receptionist!

We are seeking a Senior Dental Receptionist to take charge of front office operations across our 5+ orthodontic practices in Brooklyn and Queens. As a senior team member, you’ll optimize patient flow, mentor junior staff, and ensure seamless scheduling and insurance processesβ€”all while creating a welcoming, stress-free experience for our patients.

πŸ’° Competitive Pay: Hourly rates start at $25/hr, with higher compensation available for candidates with extensive experience!

What You’ll Do:

βœ” Oversee and manage patient scheduling across multiple locations, ensuring provider efficiency and patient satisfaction using Dentrix Ascend, Open Dental or similar software.
βœ” Lead front office operations, streamlining patient check-in/check-out, documentation accuracy, and workflow coordination.
βœ” Expertly verify insurance, process claims, and handle complex billing inquiries, ensuring compliance and quick resolution of issues.
βœ” Be the primary point of contact for patient inquiries, providing clear and compassionate communication regarding treatments, financial policies, and appointment logistics.
βœ” Maintain meticulous patient records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
βœ” Coordinate with providers, treatment coordinators, and dental assistants to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care.
βœ” Develop and implement front office best practices, improving operational efficiency and patient experience.
βœ” Train and mentor junior receptionists and administrative staff, fostering a culture of professionalism and exceptional service.
βœ” Optimize scheduling strategies to maximize provider productivity while keeping wait times minimal.
βœ” Stay updated on industry best practices, insurance regulations, and technology advancements to continuously enhance front desk operations.

What We’re Looking For:

βœ” 5+ years of experience in dental reception, front office administration, or a similar senior role.
βœ” Expert proficiency in dental office software (Dentrix Ascend, Eaglesoft, Open Dental).
βœ” Extensive experience in insurance verification, claims processing, and revenue cycle management.
βœ” Strong leadership skills, with the ability to train, mentor, and oversee front office staff.
βœ” Exceptional problem-solving abilities to handle high-volume, fast-paced environments confidently.
βœ” Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm, patient-first mindset.
βœ” Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively, ensuring smooth daily operations.
βœ” Knowledge of dental terminology, front desk protocols, and HIPAA compliance.
