Associate R&D Chemist (Temporary, Part-Time)

 

Performing a variety of technical laboratory duties including extraction and purification of natural products, using different chromatographic techniques. Maintain inventory and records of controlled substances. Clean and maintain laboratory equipment, space and glass wares for production and tests of controlled substances.

Minimum Education/Experience

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related discipline, with experience in laboratory instrumentation, analysis, and extraction operations. The applicant must have basic computer skills, and excellent oral and written communication and organization skills. The position requires responsibilities involving the handling of controlled substances. Job offers for positions in NCNPR that handle controlled substances are contingent upon the proposed new hire successfully passing controlled substances testing and background check.
