Senior Field Security Investigator

Requirements:

GEICO Special Investigations Unit (SIU) seeks a qualified candidate to join our Orange County area field investigative team. The primary area of responsibility will be Orange County. The candidate must reside within a reasonable distance from the coverage area to be worked.

Qualified candidates should be well versed in all aspects of SIU investigations, self-motivated, organized and able to handle a voluminous case load while conducting multiple field investigations. The candidate will work remotely and must be disciplined, professional and possess the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualified candidates must possess a strong investigative background with a minimum of three years documented field fraud investigative experience. All aspects of insurance fraud, to include claims and policy fraud issues, will be investigated. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills expected.

Bi-Lingual Spanish is preferred but not required. A college degree is strongly preferred, but not required.

A pre-test may be required. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license; and will be subject to background and driving records checks.
