Job Description

AECOM Hunt has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Construction Survey Manager for our long term project in Chicago, IL.

• Establishes operational objectives and work plans, delegates assignment to subordinate managers. 
• Reviews objectives to determine success of operation. 
• Develops, modifies, executes company polices that affect immediate operations and may have company-wide effect. 
• Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. 
• Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. 
• Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction. 
• Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design and/or construction management activities and personnel under individual's direction on a day-to-day basis.
• Works as an integral part of the site construction team at the project as delineated by the applicable company project execution plans and procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirement:

• BA/BS Construction, Finance or related curriculum and 10 years of construction experience or demonstrated equivalency and/or education, including 2 years if leadership.
• Aviation experience (airport construction).

Preferred Requirements: 

• 10+ years of experience in construction project management.
• Experience in construction survey processes and assets.
• Demonstrated experience in the scheduling, building and management of construction survey staff.  
• Experience in aviation construction project(s).
• OSHA 30.
• Proficiency with AutoDesk, Trimble, and other 3D computer programs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
