Senior Product Manager, ATS Linehaul

About the role
Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated person to help develop a world-class logistics process that delivers goods on time at the best cost as part of our NAST-CX team. Our team contains subject matter experts on end-end transportation processes who identify and drive improvement opportunities across the Amazon network, and work with all teams in the organization to develop quality metrics and execute cross-functional projects.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Work cross-functionally across internal and external partner product/tech teams to affect network-level performance improvement by designing and implementing systems, metrics and programs that maximize compliance and performance. This includes completion of root cause analysis on defects, using data to drive new scalable activities.
• Influence design and development of incumbent strategic processes, products, and systems
• Work with program managers, business leaders and executive team to communicate and impact critical business initiatives
• Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones and performance across all projects
• Establish and continually improve the consistency, predictability, and efficiency of the organization’s project delivery capability by providing leadership in best practices
• Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Amazon customers.
• Up to 25% travel required
Basic qualifications:
• Completed Bachelor’s Degree in math, engineering, science, operations, logistics, supply chain or related field
• 5+ years of progressive responsibility in transportation operations or related field
• Lean/Six Sigma experience Experience in writing SQL queries
• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment when working in stressful situations
Preferred qualifications:
• Advanced degree/Master’s degree (Math, Engineering, Science, Business) from an accredited university
• Background in logistics and continuous improvement methodologies with demonstrated operations management skills
• As comfortable working on high-level strategy and design as they are rolling-up their sleeves and working on implementation
• Demonstrable problem-solving, mathematical and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment
• Champion ACES principles despite the pressure to deviate – regardless of the direction from which it originates
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective communication of goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels of an organization

- 3+ years of post-undergraduate and pre-Master's professional or military experience
