Senior Computer Systems Analyst

At Bellota Labs, we’re redefining the online gaming experience with ClubWPT Gold, the flagship product of the World Poker Tour. We’re a fast-paced, high-growth startup focused on delivering world-class online poker and gaming products driven by integrity, innovation, and player experience.
We’re currently building out our technical team and seeking a Computer Systems Analyst who can bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions — helping optimize our internal systems, data infrastructure, and user-facing applications.
As a Computer Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in evaluating and enhancing the performance and efficiency of our internal systems. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to analyze business needs, define technical requirements, and implement systems that support Bellota’s product and operations teams.
This role does not focus on direct programming or software engineering, but instead on designing and implementing improvements to our current technology stack, optimizing workflows, and enhancing the way data and systems support the company’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing computer systems, procedures, and workflows to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Finance, and Data to understand business requirements and translate them into systems-level solutions.
• Evaluate user needs and recommend modifications to current systems or the implementation of new systems to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Work closely with DevOps and Engineering leadership to ensure alignment between systems design and organizational priorities.
• Help design and configure business tools and platforms (e.g., data pipelines, internal dashboards, CRM and analytics systems) to better serve internal users.
• Maintain documentation of systems functionality, data flows, and decision logic for transparency and compliance.
• Conduct cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decision-making on system improvements or transitions.
• Provide support during system upgrades, migrations, and integrations across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a systems analysis, IT business analysis, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of how business needs translate into systems design and functionality.
• Experience with data tools (e.g., Looker, Snowflake, dbt, BigQuery), and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise between technical and non-technical teams.
• Demonstrated ability to map out systems processes and provide documentation.
• Experience with technical project management or systems integration preferred.
