Manager, WI Strategy & Planning

 

The Team  

Fidelity’s Workplace Investing business is the market-leading provider of retirement, investment and benefits solutions for more than 23,000 companies and their 50 million employees. The WI Strategy & Planning team is responsible for crafting the long-term strategy of WI, as well as leading multi-year planning, investment prioritization, and business intelligence, analytics and governance processes for the division. We partner closely with key leaders and functions across WI and the enterprise, including the Business Domains, Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance and Technology. 

The Role 

The Manager, Business Analysis role within the WI Strategy & Planning team supports the President and Senior Leadership Team by developing new business cases and driving critical cross-WI projects aligned with the organization’s long-term strategic vision. As a key member of the WI Strategy & Planning team this role’s contributions will directly impact efforts to grow, run, and scale the business.  

The Expertise You Have 

• BS/BA degree with a minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in finance, strategy, or project management

• Excellent communication, organization, problem solving and analytical skills 

• Experience working in the Workplace Investing business preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts. 

• Ability to build and manage relationships with business partners 

• Ability to think strategically about and frame business problems / challenges 

• You can critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, identify trends and transform data into executive messaging 

• You are naturally upbeat and collaborative with the ability to work independently  

• You are skilled at working on multiple tasks and managing priorities 

• You deal effectively with ambiguity, can switch gears quickly, and perform well under pressure 

• You have experience putting together visually appealing, professional and effective presentations 

• Some experience with data analysis preferred, but not required 

The base salary range for this position is $80,000-153,000 USD per year.  

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
