TECHNICAL SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE

Position Summary: Responsible for providing contractors, specifiers, architects, consultants and sales teams with product knowledge, installation best practices, technical education and field support. 

Responsibilities:

• Partners with the sales team to identify commercial and industrial liquids opportunities, leverages existing industry relationships to assist sales in growing the liquids business with a focus on Polyurea / Polyurethane technology.
• Works closely with Polyschool, Sales and other applicable parties to develop and support Liquids training initiatives for both internal and external parties upon request.
• Facilitates technical workshops, hands-on trainings / product demonstrations at customer locations, jobsites or Polyglass facilities.
• Designs and assists in developing technical content upon request, including but not limited to guide specifications, installation instructions, / system details etc.
• Provides project support to contractors, specifiers, consultants, architects and building owners on the job site, in person or via conference calls to ensure successful project completions.
• Facilities pre-construction meetings prior to job starts.
• Investigates potential product issues, customer complaints, leaks and warranty claims.
• Provides equipment recommendations / advice and troubleshooting for new and existing liquid customers.
• Provides voice of customer from the field to product management and R&D for new product development projects
• Manages relationships and promote Polyglass image/goals within requested industry associations (for example IIBEC, CSI, SWRI, PDA, etc.).
• Performs other duties as required. 

Requirements: 

• 10+ years of related industry experience in a Technical Services and or Technical Sales role.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Requires proficiency using Microsoft Word, Teams, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read project drawings and interpret details.
• Solid mechanical aptitude
• Ability to travel 75% at minimum
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or other technical area of study is preferred.
