Business Segment Overview: Empower individual investors – and yourself – in the world of retail through a range of different financial products rooted in innovation and market intelligence. From FX and CFDs to precious metals, master an exciting world of wealth management tools.

Responsibilities

Position Purpose: Working directly with the front and middle office in relation to the development of existing technology and new business initiatives. The focus of the work will span all aspects of the metals business, but with focus on the physical retail platform.

Primary duties will include: 

  • Develops and documents a plan of action, codes programs, prepares test data and performs testing/debugging activities with limited guidance from management.
  • Performs development, testing, and implementation of application code.
  • Participates in the entire lifecycle of software development including requirements definition, architecture and development specifications, coding, quality assurance testing, deployment, documentation and support.
  • Works as a member of a development team to implement programming methodologies, standards, and procedures, and will be responsible for gathering requirements from end users in multiple business units.
  • Determines solutions to complex systems issues.
  • Delivers quality code within scope and on time.
  • Collaborate with other developers and business analysts effectively.
  • Maintains prompt and regular attendance.
  • Communication in English, Professional Working Proficiency level.

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

 

PHP Development:

  • At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience with PHP.

Laravel Framework:

  • Familiarity with Laravel features such as Eloquent ORM, Artisan, and queues.

Testing:

  • Ability to write and maintain unit tests and feature tests (e.g., PHPUnit, Pest).

What makes you stand out:  

  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience in building/consuming APIs.
  • Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with package managers like Composer and npm/yarn.
  • Good debugging and optimization skills for both backend and frontend.
  • Familiarity with Docker or other containerization tools is a plus.
