Summary

Anaconda is seeking a talented Web Content Writer to join our rapidly-growing company who will oversee copywriting for anaconda.com. You should be passionate about writing impactful copy that speaks to diverse audiences and aligns seamlessly with our brand. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a talent for simplifying complex topics and crafting copy that resonates with various buyer personas. 

What You’ll Do:

• Write, edit, and proofread web content, ensuring alignment with brand voice, style guides, and product messaging
• Develop engaging headlines, calls to action that drive users to take specific actions
• Partner with the SEO team to ensure all web copy incorporates relevant keywords and follows SEO best practices
• Write and edit pillar (2,500+ word count) and topic pages
• Refine content strategy based on feedback, analytics, and evolving brand voice that is aliged with overall business goals
• Lead content audits, reorganize existing content, and suggest improvements for enhanced user experience and clarity through copy
• Review and optimize existing content to improve readability, engagement, and conversion
• Collaborate with designers and UX specialists to create cohesive online experiences
• Research industry trends, competitors, and target audience to stay current and produce relevant content
• Manage contract writers and vendors
• Manage multiple content projects, ensuring timely delivery

What You Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a web copywriter, editing, and proofreading abilities with a strong understanding of SEO principles
• Experience writing for multiple personas for B2B and B2C
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with keyword research tools.
• Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, web analytics, and UX principles.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress
• Strong understanding of brand voice and the ability to adapt messaging accordingly.
• Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
