Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Description

SpeechCom Inc. is hiring a CA Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to serve a school district in Paramount, CA for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year.

Details:

• 5 hours per day
• 5 days per week 
• Pay: $35-$42 per hour depending on experience
• One Student - will work with student on site (school environment)
• Must be able to perform a range of duties that include, but are not limited to: oversight of tracheostomy care (reinsert a tracheostomy should it become dislodged), monitor SpO2, operate oxygen concentration, provide Tube Feeding (TF), suction of excess secretion (if needed for student care)
• Must pass LiveScan
• New TB Test to be completed

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities: 

Knowledge of district policies and procedures.

Ability to collaborate with families and classroom teacher.

Education and Experience:

Current CA state-issued LVN License required

Physical Requirements: 

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk.

Prolonged periods of standing, reaching, and bending.
