In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and optimization of our ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB). You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of IT asset data, which is critical for supporting various IT functions and driving informed decision-making.</span></p><p></p><h2>WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)</h2><p></p><p><span>CMDB Administration:</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Configure and maintain CMDB classes, attributes, and relationships to reflect the IT infrastructure accurately.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Manage the data lifecycle within the CMDB, including onboarding new CIs (Configuration Items), data cleansing, and deactivating retired assets.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and consistency.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>Discovery and Reconciliation:</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Implement and maintain discovery tools and processes to automatically collect IT asset and CI data from various sources.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Reconcile discovered data with existing CMDB records to ensure accuracy and eliminate duplicates.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Monitor and troubleshoot discovery jobs to identify and resolve data integration issues.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Keep an overarching view of all the CMDB integrations.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>Reporting and Analytics:</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Develop reports and dashboards to visualise CMDB data and identify trends.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Analyse CMDB data to identify areas for improvement and recommend process enhancements.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborate with stakeholders across Zalando to ensure reports meet their needs.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>Collaboration and Support:</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Work closely with IT operations teams, system administrators, and business users to understand their CMDB requirements.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Provide ongoing support to users regarding CMDB functionalities and data access.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow CMDB features and best practices.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><b>WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF</b></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with IT asset management tools or CMDB systems.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and configuration management principles</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proven experience with ServiceNow CMDB configuration, integrations and administration.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience in ServiceNow CSDM</span></p></li><li><p><span>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Understanding of ITIL principles &amp; practices, especially related to configuration management and CMDB </span></p></li><li><p><span>Effective communication and collaboration skills.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with reporting tools and data visualisation techniques (a plus).</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><b>ADDITIONAL PREFERRED SKILLS</b></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Excellent verbal and written skills in English</span></p></li><li><p><span>ServiceNow certifications ServiceNow Fundamentals/CSA, CIS - ITSM, CIS - Discovery </span></p></li><li><p><span>ITIL4 Foundation</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b><b>OUR OFFER</b></b></p><p><span>Zalando provides a range of benefits, here’s an overview of what you can expect.
