The Disposition and Routing team oversees aggregate recovery levels across ReCommerce channels, routing systems and inventory disposition.
As Business Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating drivers of total inventory recovery and margin for returned and damaged products. You will analyze the impacts of various routing and recovery decisions and create financial models to measure different scenarios. You will make recommendations to product and program owners based on these insights to influence results to increase recovery and reduce inventory waste.
Key job responsibilities
- Use analytics and data mining techniques to solve complex problems and drive business decisions.
- Create financial models to evaluate disposition and routing options.
- Establish KPIs to measure business results and create bridges for supply chain profitability results.
- Draw inferences and conclusions, and partner with BI team to create dashboards and visualizations of processed data, identify trends, anomalies.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders such as business teams, engineering teams, and partner teams and align them with respect to your focus area

Bellevue, WA, USA
- 1+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 2+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with SQL or ETL
- Experience using very large datasets

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
