Compensation: $21 - $35/hr, based on experience and licensure. 

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

ECVR is seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Technician to support our Outpatient Appointment Services. In this role, you'll work directly with our clients and patients during appointments, playing a key part in patient care, client education, and clinical efficiency.

About You: An experienced Veterinary Technician that thrives in a fast-paced environment and focused on building relationships with pet owners to be a vital part of their pet care journey. Position Responsibilities:  

  • Assist veterinarians with patient exams and outpatient appointments, collect patient histories and vital signs, perform routine diagnostics (blood draws, fecals, urinalysis, etc.) prepare and administer medications and treatments, maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Smartflow and EzyVet.
  • Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and at-home care, ensure smooth patient flow and provide compassionate care in a fast-paced setting.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of veterinary technician experience (license preferred, but not required)
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task, strong communication skills with both clients and team members, and a commitment to exceptional patient care.
  • Proficiency in veterinary knowledge including restraint, diagnostic procedures, terminology, pharmacology, disease processes, etc. Experience with EzyVet or Smartflow is a plus. 
  • Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus.
