Systems Architect

The customer organization is building a modern cloud-based system to replace an existing standalone, on premise, mission system. The cloud system will enable automatic, more efficient processing of large amounts of data for analysts to provide reports. This resource will focus on provide cloud support to the team.

Required Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Agency Appropriate Polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, or related field or equivalent work experience

Required Technical Skills

• Extensive experience developing and overseeing technical aspects of cloud system migrations, ensuring seamless transition and minimal downtime
• Previous roles involving technical consultation to senior management with excellent briefing and writing skills
• Design and implement cloud architecture solutions on AWS with strong knowledge of AWS cloud security best practices and tools (IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, etc.)
• Proficiency in big data technologies, frameworks (Spark), and big data indexing solutions (Elastic, Kibana, etc.)
• Experience with infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Oversee the performance and reliability of a portfolio of cloud systems
• Experience with security accreditation processes and frameworks
• Experience transitioning to a cloud infrastructure and available services from an existing, standalone, on premise system.
