The Tools and Technologies Team (TNT) designs and builds hardware and software tools that support our top Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) customers. As a part of this small, dynamic team, you will engage in daily activities of technical support for a vast portfolio of engineering tools. This position has a significant focus on the support of Voltage Regulator Test Tools (VRTT). Understanding of Power Delivery protocols, Serial Voltage Identification (VID), or other aspects of Power Delivery will be helpful but not required.

We are looking for a hardware engineer with experience in product hardware/software validation, debugging and identifying the root cause down to the circuit board component level. A thoughtful self-starter with good communication skills and a willingness to resolve issues will be exceptionally valuable in this position. Qualifications:

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS in Electronics or Computer Engineer or any related field.
• 3+ years of experience in circuit board design and validation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MS degree in Electronics or Computer Engineer
• 3+ years of experience or knowledge in:
  • Proficiency in Failure Analysis on both systems and electronic circuit board level.
  • Experiences in software languages, C# and Python.
  • Experiences in schematic design and PCB layout tools.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in voltage regulator and signal integrity.
  • Familiarly with Intel platforms and power specifications

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in

US, California:$89,620.00-$143,200.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
