Job Description:

Create image transformation shaders in both openGLES and Vulkan for standalone HMD devices. Perform Image enhancement (quality / readability), late stage reprojection based on depth maps, and image transformation ML approaches. Surface detection and image pass-through to object alignment. Develop new architectures and approaches for collecting image processing from hardware. Translate functional prototypes and research code into production algorithms. 10% domestic and international travel required.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Robotics or a related field; and two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or any related engineering related job titles.
• Requires two (2) years of work experience in the following:
  • (1) Developing on-device computer vision and machine learning technologies employing C++ and Android languages.
  • (2) Tensorflow and PyTorch Machine Learning platforms.
  • (3) Deep/machine learning and digital signal processing.
  • (4) Prototyping AR/VR solutions.
  • (5) Image transformations on GPU hardware.
  • (6) Depth based image transformation on mobile devices.
  • (7) Ray-tracing and Ray-casting experience.
