We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Supply Chain Contracts. This role is a strategic partner within the Mission Systems Strategic Business Unit and will support Raytheon Company work.
This individual will be responsible for partnering with supply chain professionals to support the drafting, analysis, and negotiation of supply chain contracts and must possess significant expertise in areas such as the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DoD Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), use and protection of proprietary information, and supplier financing.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develops contracts strategies, goals and implements initiatives to achieve the overall Supply Chain Contracts mission.
Interface with key internal stakeholders and leadership to support and influence contract negotiations in alignment with policies and procedures and supply chain business objectives.
Supports contract drafting and negotiation for a wide variety of contracts and supply chain contract activities to ensure contract execution in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, customer specifications and U.S. Government contracting requirements.
Advises on contractual rights and obligations to protect the organization’s legal and business interests.
Conducts legal terms and conditions reviews on a regular basis while concurrently creating negotiation plans and alternative language provisions to address specific business need while mitigating legal risks.
Uses legal resources and other subject matter experts to ensure all levels of risk are recognized and subsequently addressed through development of unique contract terms and conditions.
Track and report key functional metrics to improve effectiveness.
Reviews and analyzes customer contracts to determine regulatory and other flow downs to suppliers.
Provides training on various topics, including terms & conditions and contracting requirements.

Qualifications/ Experience Needed:
Must have a minimum of 8+ years of professional experience Supply Chain Contracts
Must have experience negotiating terms and conditions.
Must have experience/knowledge of US Government contracts
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Juris Doctor Degree
