Job Posting DescriptionJob Posting Description

The Lead Cloud Admin manages Empower’s AWS-hosted application servers, diagnosing issues, and providing project plans. Responsibilities include installing, supporting, and automating applications, maintaining best practices, and delivering customer service. Requires experience with complex infrastructures, DevOps tools (Jira, Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Bitbucket), and infrastructure automation.

What you will do:

  • Administer Business Intelligence applications on AWS.
  • Train and mentor technical support team on standards.
  • Implement container security policies and procedures.
  • Ensure IT environment security and audit compliance.
  • Execute and manage CI/CD pipelines along with development and governance teams.
  • Monitor application and server performance using tools like AWS CloudWatch, AppDynamics, or Splunk.
  • Ensures compliance with security policies, access controls, audits and resiliency standards.

What you will bring:

  • 10+ years in Business Intelligence applications (SAP Business Objects, Tableau, SAS Viya).
  • 3+ years managing Cloud environments (preferably AWS) and 2+ years in DevOps.
  • Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure for scalability and cost-efficiency.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems for high availability and performance
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using DevOps tools.
  • Deep understanding of Internet technologies (DNS, Security, IP Routing, etc.).
  • Scripting skills for automation and knowledge of Windows/Linux servers.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience

Support the following technologies:

  • SAP Business Objects Reporting
  • SAP Business Objects Data Services
  • AWS Environments hosting applications (EC2, EKS) and DevOps Operations.
  • Tableau, Quick Sight, Alteryx, Collibra

$94,200.00 - $133,050.00
