Software Engineering Manager (Front-End & Mobile)

<p>We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our Front-End and Mobile development teams. As the Software Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and guiding the development of innovative front-end and mobile solutions that drive our business forward. You will oversee a team of talented software engineers and work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products.</p> <p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage and lead a team of front-end and mobile software engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and career development support.</li> <li>Drive the software development process, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. Also do code review</li> <li>design workflow &amp; engineering processes,</li> <li> understand the complexity of large volumes of real-time data</li> <li>deliver secure and auditable applications</li> <li>Project management through with Gitlab / Jira / Confluence</li> <li>Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and priorities.</li> <li>Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high performance within the engineering team.</li> <li>Ensure adherence to software development best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.</li> <li>Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, helping them overcome technical challenges and making informed decisions.</li> <li>Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for skills development and training.</li> <li>Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in front-end and mobile development, and apply them to enhance team productivity and product quality.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate efforts and align engineering initiatives with business goals.</li> <li>Monitor and track project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and communicate project status and issues to stakeholders.</li> </ul> <p><br/></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.</li> <li>Proven experience as a Software Engineering Manager or similar leadership role, with a focus on front-end and mobile development.</li> <li>Strong technical background in front-end and mobile technologies, such as JavaScript, Vuejs / Nuxtjs, React, iOS, Android and Symfony framework (4 &amp; 5) / Mysql / Redis</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and processes.</li> <li>Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve high performance.</li> <li>Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality software products on schedule.</li> <li>Ability to analyze complex problems, propose innovative solutions, and make data-driven decisions.</li> <li>Solid understanding of user experience principles and best practices in front-end and mobile design.</li> <li>Experience with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.</li> <li>Preferred Qualifications:</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience with cloud technologies and architectures, such as AWS or Azure.</li> <li>Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.</li> <li>Knowledge of backend technologies, databases, and RESTful APIs.</li> </ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul> <li>Hybrid Working model</li> <li>Private Healthcare</li> <li>GiG Wellbeing Benefit (EUR 350 per year)</li> <li>Restaurant voucher</li> <li>Holiday Bonus</li> <li>Professional development</li> <li>Coaching and mentoring</li> <li>Employee Recognition Program</li> </ul>
