This is a unique opportunity for you to join the Middle Office Operations team which provides services including Instruction Capture & Processing, Derivatives & OTC Processing, Asset Servicing, Security Lending, Reconciliations, and Investment Book of Record (IBOR) analysis to Global Investment Manager’s Front and Middle Offices.
Job Summary
As a Middle Office Operations Senior Associate within the IBOR team, you will be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of IBOR reporting and ensuring that our clients receive a first-class service. The Investment Book of Records (IBOR) operations team provides clients with reporting used for investment decision-making, liquidity management and performance reporting.
Job Responsibilities
- Play a lead role for the EMEA IBOR team and act as the point of escalation
- Oversee large components of the daily operational activities essential to the construction and delivery of client reporting (IBOR)
- Build solid relationships with internal stakeholders and maintaining a strong partnership with global IBOR teams
- Work with management of global IBOR teams based in Europe, APAC and US to achieve 100% timeliness and accuracy and seamless integration in a ‘follow the sun’ model
- Ensure successful implementation of change activities related to new and existing clients
- Influence and build strong relationships across multiple levels of the organization
- Work cross functionally with technology, service, product and other operations teams to manage the entire IBOR service delivery
- Enhance operational efficiencies through automation tools such as Alteryx and UI Path
- Emphasize on risk management and mitigation through reduction in manual touch-points and partnership with Technology and Product Development teams
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Extensive experience working in Middle Office Operations or similar Fund Administration role
- Demonstrated leadership and experience coordinating daily tasks and deliverables amongst the team
- Strong aptitude and interest in risk management and achieving operational efficiencies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with senior internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and ability to investigate and solve complex data-related issues
- Attested track record of working to deadlines, with accountability and responsibility for independent workload
- An individual who appreciates working in a multicultural and dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Proven ability to lead teams across multiple locations along with extensive understanding of OTC instruments / Exchange Traded Derivatives / Fixed Income Securities / Equity products
- Ability to work with and have a thorough understanding of responsibilities of other products (Transfer Agency, Fund Accounting, Asset Servicing, Trade Processing)
