Overview

As a senior engineer in USACH Payments you will engage with product owners and developers to define and develop test automation. You will engage in creating a smooth on-boarding of the Business of a new high-profile client. You will also support the transformation of our payment platform into a new technology stack.

What You’ll Do

  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings

  • Interact with stakeholders to understand and build test plans for regression, end to end for ongoing projects

  • Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to build test data, conduct various kinds of test manual or automated tests to identify bugs and ensure the software meets quality standards

  • Document and report issues with clear and precise information to business, development teams

  • Collaborate business, product teams to validate software to meeting requirement and expectations 

Skills You’ll Need

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required

  • Exposure to banking channels (like The US Federal Reserve (FED), EPN) and banking/payment standards (NACHA)

  • Experience in Agile and Scrum delivery environment and exposure to change management and software development life cycle (SDLC) disciplines, In depth knowledge in various testing methodologies and ability to perform System integration testing, regression testing, performance testing etc

  • Proven skills in solution architecture (Robust & realistic resolutions based on the platform and environment)

  • Ability to navigate in Mainframe CICS regions and work with Legacy mainframe User interface and knowledge of asset and liability management (ALM), JIRA and Confluence and Mainframe development and associated tools (JCL, COBOL, DB2, Endevor, NDM etc.)

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Ability to automate tasks in Quality assurance testing

  • Ability to develop and execute automated scripts for test data extraction and preparation  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Understanding of mainframe technologies and hands on experience on MVS, Z/OS environments

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.  Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
