Senior Data Scientist

<p>We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the Pricing Markdown Recommender team, which is responsible for delivering price path recommendations for online sales periods. This role involves working hands-on with machine learning systems to ensure optimal pricing strategies for various articles throughout the sales lifecycle.</p><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>• Develop and maintain ML systems that generate price path recommendations aligned with stakeholder needs.</p><p>• Collaborate closely with ML engineers and data engineers to ensure smooth ML operations, proactively addressing challenges and incidents.</p><p>• Continuously monitor and improve system performance during sales periods to maximize business impact.</p><p><br/>Qualifications:</p><p>• Strong programming skills and deep expertise in machine learning, particularly in forecasting and also mathematical optimization.</p><p>• Solid business acumen with the ability to independently analyze system behavior and its impact on business outcomes.</p><p>• Proven ability to tackle loosely defined problems and drive system improvements in collaboration with team members and stakeholders.</p><p></p><p><strong>Who You Are:</strong></p><p>• A seasoned data scientist with several years of experience working in cross-functional product teams.</p><p>• While formal leadership experience is not required, you excel at shaping ideas from hypothesis to implementation, and driving initiatives within a team setting.</p><p>• You thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about delivering data-driven solutions that create tangible business value. <br/></p>
