About the role  

We are looking for a Senior Director, Software Engineering to  to help us build the financial intelligence platform of the future. What you will be doing

• Drive technical decisions through architectural reviews, design reviews, code reviews, post-mortems, and detailed software specifications. 

• Manage a team of 10 to 40 software engineers and technical leads, unblocking maximum productivity for them, and growing their careers to the next level. 

• Drive software quality, implement observability, and comply with best practices for builds and deployment to ensure the quality and reliability of our platform. 

• Provide live on-call support by participating in the team on-call rotation and owning production issues from root cause analysis to resolution to future prevention. 

• Partner with cross-functional teams (product, program management, design, security, compliance, etc.) to bring ideas to life. 

What you will need   

• At a minimum, a Bachelor's in CS or equivalent education, and a total of 12+ years of relevant professional experience or a combination of experience and advanced education.  

• 7+ years of supervising technical employees  

• Past experience as a software developer.
