At Diagnostics Insights Software, we are collaborating in digitalising diagnostics and revolutionizing how data is accessed and utilized in laboratories and Point of Care settings. As a Software Delivery Manager, you will play a vital role in the development of our digital products, collaborating with different business areas to drive the digital transformation of diagnostics, managing a team of SW Delivery Leads that are the Engineering leaders of their respective products.

The Opportunity:

• Drive the continuous improvement and harmonization of engineering practices across our portfolio of products.

  • Data collection and tracking of engineering metrics (Jira, EazyBI, SonarQube...)

  • Adherence to testing strategy defined by Testing team

  • Ensure adequate definition of environments, both development and production

  • Vulnerability tool configuration

  • Reinforce configuration and usage of common tools

  • Detect opportunities for reuse of components across portfolio

  • Guarantee compliance based on applicable regulations

• Work closely with the other key roles in your product (Product Owners, Architects, Test Managers,...)

• Mentor and guide your  and other engineers to enhance their expertise and effectiveness.

• Fostering collaboration within the team and with the rest of the engineering community

• Responsible for the technical and personnel leadership of the team, including employee roles, the yearly objectives (MbO), appraisals, salaries and bonus payments.

• Responsible for the education and development of the team employees, including the methods used for education and employee development as well as know-how retention.

• Responsible for providing and assigning resources to requested positions as well as recruitment of internal and external employees when required.

Who You Are:

• University Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 5-10 years on the job experience in software delivery related roles (ideally following SAFe framework).

• Proven experience as a software team lead or manager, preferably in the medical device or diagnostics industry.

• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in large, international, and complex development projects.
