Product Portfolio Manager

<p>We are currently seeking an experienced insurance professional to join a pet insurance client of ours, based in Hannover. </p><p>You will be joining a live product-enhancement project which will see you analysing the existing product designs and offering your expertise to help push product sales to a wider audience, whilst still maintaining it's core market values. You will act as the first point of contact for all product portfolio enquiries and will be responsible for the product strategy and product roadmap.</p><p>You will need to leverage your industry and market knowledge to further this project and ensure more sales for the future. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will need to have a strong understanding of insurance packages and how to sell them across a German market.</p><p><strong>German-speaking is essential for this role.</strong></p><p>We are looking for someone to lead a team of 4 - 5 employees, so management experience is vital for this project. In addition to the above, our client is seeking someone who can start as soon as possible, so unfortunately long notice period will have to be disregarded. </p><p><strong>This role will include:</strong></p><ul> <li>Overseeing the implementation of a new product strategy.</li> <li>Creating a product roadmap.</li> <li>Regular market research. </li> <li>Leading a small team for the duration of the project.</li> <li>Stakeholder engagement.</li> <li>Competitive price analysis.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Strong understanding of German insurance markets.</li> <li>Business to consumer insurance experience is essential.</li> <li>Previously worked on product strategy initiatives.</li> <li>Sufficient management experience.</li> <li>Fluent in German. </li> <li>Previous experience using Skylark is beneficial.</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>This will be a temp to perm opportunity, paying up to a maximum day rate of 1500€ per day.</p>
