Senior Dietitian - PAMC Diabetics Clinic

Assessment of medical nutrition therapy needs based upon the patient's medical diagnosis, laboratory values, anthropometric measures, medications, age-specific requirements, and other co-morbidity factors identified by the Registered Dietitian or other members of the health care team.  Development, implementation, and management of an individualized, interdisciplinary team plan of care designed to achieve maximum nutrition support.  Provide counseling and education to patient/family in the application of medical nutrition therapy principles when appropriate.

Hours: Full-time, 1.0  FTE,  Day  Shift,  40 Hours Per Week.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree: Nutrition or related specialty 
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire Alaska Dietitian License Or
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire Alaska Nutritionist License
• Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration 
• Upon hire: Advanced Certification in nutrition related specialty
• Three years: Experience in nutrition related specialty.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Three years: Clinical experience in area of expertise.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
