POSITION PROFILE
The Artist Assistant will be an integral member of the team in a fast paced wallpaper manufacturing studio. This role is a physical job that involves directly applying plaster and paint to paper. This is not a creative role, rather focused on application and manufacturing.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with all aspects of production
- Complete product per production schedule
- Directly applying plaster and paint to paper
- Learn and master different application techniques for all lines of wallpaper
- Meet all critical product characteristics
- Maintain work station clean, organized and safe
- Use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required
- Observe all company policies and standard practices
Minimum Qualifications
- Painting or plastering experience a plus
- Must be detailed and precise
- Must be willing to follow directions
- Ability to multitask
- Some lifting (20-50 lbs max)
