RSM Security, Privacy and Risk Manager – Senior Cloud Transformation Architect

In order to address the most critical needs of our clients, RSM US LLP established the Security and Privacy Services Consulting (SPRC) practice, comprised of more than 300 professionals dedicated exclusively to serving the cybersecurity needs of our clients. This group includes experienced consultants located throughout the globe dedicated to helping clients with preventing, detecting, responding and recovering to security threats that may affect their critical systems and data. We serve a diverse client base within a variety of industries and are focused on meeting our clients where they need us most across a variety of security and risk domains - helping them realize their stated outcomes through our cyber advisory, assessment, implementation and managed solutions. 

We are seeking an individual with both broad and deep cloud implementation and migration experience with a focus on building complex multi-cloud and hybrid environments to join our team and lead the continued growth of our cloud security practice serving RSM clients in a variety of industries and geographic locations. The successful candidate will have solid working knowledge of leading cloud engineering practices, understanding of cloud architecture models, leading vendor products and solutions, cloud technology trends and innovation as well as experience leveraging this knowledge to benefit global organizations. The candidate will also possess strong leadership traits and exhibit a proven track record of leading cloud engineering teams in the delivery of cloud capabilities, automations, and integrations.  This individual will be responsible for providing technical leadership on RSM cloud engineering engagements. In addition, the successful candidate will have an interest and track record of developing and expanding the portfolio of cloud solutions that are available to RSM clients.

As a leader within the SPRC practice, the successful candidate is responsible for developing strong working relationships with clients built on understanding their businesses, the challenges they face and the outcomes they are looking to achieve. As a Senior Cloud Transformation Architect, you will be a leader guiding global enterprises through complex cloud modernization initiatives. You will help clients define cloud strategies, design scalable architectures, and drive large-scale cloud adoption, leveraging public, private, and hybrid cloud solutions. The selected candidate will support the identification, pursuit, proposal, and closure of new opportunities with both existing and new clients and will provide subject matter knowledge to support the efforts of the broader consulting practice. This individual will work across multiple client account teams within a wide variety of industries. The candidate is responsible to lead multiple team engagements simultaneously, including several threads of complex implementation and migration engagements.

Successful candidates typically have 8+ years of experience in the following areas:

• Identifying, helping qualify, pursue and win client engagements in Cloud Transformation. Client cloud platforms include, to Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and other common Cloud IaaS and SaaS solutions (e.g. Oracle OCI, Alibaba, DigitalOcean).
• Provide technical leadership in the support of cloud solution selection, development, marketing, and delivery.
• Providing Cloud subject matter knowledge on client engagements to assist with developing Cloud strategies and roadmap, architecture, leading practices and operational effectiveness.
• Provide hands-on cloud engineering and architecture expertise across a broad set of Cloud Technologies and Transformation initiatives including: Cloud Transformation Strategy and Operating Models, Core Platform Engineering, Cloud Security, Cloud Centers of Excellence, DevSecOps, Cloud Operations, Application Disposition, Modernization, and Migration, and Applied Cloud Engineering in AI and Data Analytics.
• Experience in cloud architecture design and software development to include the development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Policy as Code (PaC), and cloud automation and integration software packages.
• Design, architect, im
